Introduction: What is STR 2025?
Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) is Malaysia’s cash aid program to support low-income groups with daily living costs.
For 2025, STR continues with extra help through Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) — a monthly allowance for the poor, hardcore poor, B40, and selected M40 families.
STR Phase 4 Payment Update – October 2025
Good news!
The STR Phase 4 payment will start earlier, on 18 October 2025, in conjunction with Deepavali.
Some recipients might see a short delay due to public holidays, but payments are being released in stages.

STR 2025 Eligibility Criteria
A. Household (Isi Rumah)
- Married, or
- Single parent (widow/widower/divorced) with children who meet the requirements
- Household income RM5,000 and below
B. Senior Citizens Without Spouse
- Age 60 and above
- No spouse or children under care
- Monthly income RM5,000 and below
C. Single (Bujang)
- Age 21–59 years
- OKU (disabled person) aged 19 and above
- Not a full-time university or college student
- Monthly income RM2,500 and below
Note: Full-time students aged 21 and above are only eligible as dependents under household applications, not as individual single applicants.
How STR Payments Are Made
1️⃣ Bank Transfer (Online Credit)
Payments are automatically credited to the applicant’s or spouse’s registered bank account.
Make sure your bank account is active and under your name.
2️⃣ Cash at BSN (Bank Simpanan Nasional)
If you don’t have a bank account or your payment failed to credit, you can collect cash at any BSN branch.
For rural areas in Sabah and Sarawak, cash will be delivered manually by government teams starting 21 October 2025.

- Visit https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my
- Click Login MySTR
- Enter your 12-digit MyKad number
- Confirm your security phrase
- Enter your password
- Select “Application Status”
- Click “Payment Info” to view your payment date and amount

STR 2026 Application & Update
Applications and updates for STR 2026 Phase 1 close on 28 November 2025 (Tuesday).
Make sure you update your information before the deadline to stay eligible for the next phase.

Forgot Your MySTR Password?
If you forgot your password, follow these steps:
- Go to https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my
- Click “Forgot Password”
- Enter your MyKad number and email
- Confirm your security phrase
- Answer the security question
- Create a new password and confirm it
- You’ll get a success notification
If you fail 3 times, your account will be locked for 24 hours.
